Stretch Your Wings

Yuusuke stretching out his beautiful, phoenix wings. The "deity scars" on his arms, given to him by the phoenix deity of fire, allow Yuusuke to create and manipulate fire at will, and once he learns to better control his powers and strengthen them, I'm planning to probably have Yuusuke be able to create "phoenix wings" made from the flames of his "deity scars" traveling up his arms and down his back. I'm still not sure if I'll give Yuusuke this ability in his actual story but his phoenix wings are so beautiful and very fun to draw indeed!!! haha xDDD I'm still practicing with different brush strokes and techniques to draw his wings but I'm very happy with how these came out!
I also drew Yuusuke in his first and original outfit : ) It's been a while since I've drawn his starting out outfit, specially since I really love the design to his first set of clothes!
White backgrounds look absolutely gorgeous to me, since It gives off a feeling of natural paper, and the beautiful red colors to Yuusuke stand out beautifully against the white background!

I had also been working on this piece, probably since about a month ago, but I had been so busy with work, that I barely got around to finishing it!!! I'm glad to finally be done though and I'm very satisfied with the way Yuusuke came out! : D Hope you all enjoy! Definitely expect to see more "wing" practice from me in the future! ^^/
